Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping

One of the coolest dining spots here is Little Beast Cafe & Bistro, located on Connecticut Ave. Enjoy a mouth-watering pizza, a scrumptious salmon or steak salad, or one of the best burgers in town. Choose from seating in the indoor dining room or the heated, covered patio. Takeout is also available.

Speaking of takeout, when in the mood for food with a Latin flare, try Muchas Gracias. This pop-up located just down the road from Little Beast also offers patio or dining room dining with a menu featuring a variety of Latin American flavors. Look for offerings such as Baja Sunfish Tacos or Shrimp Veracruz on the dinner menu. Muchas Gracias also offers some dishes for the little ones.

Some unique Chevy Chase shopping includes Politics and Prose, an independent bookstore. Beyond its vast reading offerings, Politics and Prose offers routine book group meetings, unique online classes, and day-tripping events in and around the area.

Need to run to the market? Check out Chevy Chase's Broad Branch Market on Broad Branch Rd. This independent market has been a community staple for more than 100 years. Here you will find fresh produce, prepared food, specialty beer and wine, and a quaint ice cream and candy shop. Broad Branch Market also offers deli and catering options.
